OUR RESPONSIBLE AND LOCAL CHRISTMAS GIFT LIST

Finding the perfect thoughtful gift for your eco-conscious loved ones can be tricky! However, there are some beautiful brands in Marseille that manage to combine taste, pleasure, and respect for nature and people.

1/ A herb-infused syrup from Provence: ELOIDE

Vegan, natural, and zero waste, Eloide syrups are the ideal gift for those who want to rediscover the taste and benefits of Southern plants while respecting the planet, with a bonus of summer sun and holidays!
Seven authentic flavors to enjoy as a tea, cold drink, or even paired with dishes or desserts. Chef recommendations are available on the website.

2/ Frozen pleasure with EMKIPOP sticks

Hot chestnuts, chocolate truffle, or Exo chic—frozen flavors in sticks and logs for a cool treat around the tree. Crafted in their Provencal lab without colorants or preservatives, these authentic-flavored ice creams are available for you to enjoy in Marseille, Paris, Aix, or to order online.

3/ A bottle of pastis made in Marseille from Cristal Liminana

This family-run distillery has been around since 1884, producing aniseed aperitifs and other alcohols like gin, right in the heart of Marseille (and it’s rare enough to be worth mentioning!). Cristal Anis is the brand’s flagship product, with its iconic hexagonal bottle. The family factory is open for tours.

4/ A soap shaped like a cicada from the collaboration between Savonnerie du Fer à Cheval and Monochromic

Authentic 72% olive oil Marseille soap shaped like the emblematic Muette cicada, reimagined by Marseillaise artist Karine Lanny. A lovely, local gift with a true Provençal touch!

5/ A pair of ESPIGAS slippers

100% made in Marseille, our Espigas slippers are multicolored cotton canvas with a unique design. Produced in small batches in our Marseille workshop with handi-artisans, each pair is a rare and almost unique piece. Our special edition for Christmas 2021 includes the forest green color.

6/ A gastronomic aperitif from TIMON ET SOURRIEU

A range of gourmet spreads born out of an endless family aperitif session... Timon and Sourrieu, the Michelin-starred chef of L’Epuisette, spent hours creating and testing recipes that combine sea flavors, spices, and fresh herbs. The results—“Octopus Figures, Garlic Boucan, or Sardine Spread” are as beautiful as they are delicious! And just like Tchache beer, everything is made locally in the South. Great job, guys!
