The essential souvenirs you must bring back from Marseille.

You’ve toured the city of Marseille, with its beaches, museums, restaurants, bars, and rooftops. You’ve danced, eaten, and drunk. And then it’s time to head home. With a tear in your eye, you absolutely need to bring a little piece of Marseille with you. But what to bring back and where to do your last-minute shopping? Follow the guide:

Marseille soap, but not just any soap. Certified by the authentic soap factories of the Phocaean city. We have it in our shop, and you can also find all kinds of it in the oldest hardware store in France: Maison Empereur, which is like a museum to visit. Not sure how to use it properly? Navettes from the famous bakery. These orange blossom-flavored biscuits can be nibbled at any time and will take you on a journey with just one bite. Two shops to visit: one in St. Victor and one at the Docks.

A basket from one of the Oriental shops in Noailles. You’ll make a sensation at markets, or even at school or the office. With straw handles and leather straps. Price: 10 euros.

Chocolates from Le Panier. Walking into the shop empty-handed means leaving with your bags full. At L’Espérantine, they let you taste everything, and of course, you’ll want to buy it all. Our favorite? The “cailloux”: little pieces of navette coated in chocolate!

Pastis, and even alcohol-free versions! Yes, it exists, and we sell it in our store, perfect to go with your yellow Espigas. It’s made by Cristal, one of the oldest Marseille houses, right here in the city.

And finally, our Espigas of course! Made and sold in Marseille, they will constantly remind you of the wonderful memories you created in our city. We have them in all colors, all styles. And even in tribute to the Mucem, that iconic museum of the city.
